So you’ve seen the ‘What’s Cape Town Missing?’ group on Facebook, you’ve seen it on Twitter and people have been writing about it. And finally the word is out on what exactly Trinity in Cape Town is. This is what they have to say:
December 15 sees the much anticipated launch of Cape Town’s most prolific luxury nightclub and restaurant, the likes of which the city has never seen. Located a stone’s throw from the V & A Waterfront, Greenpoint stadium and the town centre, it combines flawless opulence with a brand new distinct, progressive and modern approach.
Inspired by the UK’s “superclubs” and a passion for good food, the venue has been in development for the past 3 year’s and no expense has been spared in providing a state-of-the-art entertainment and dining experience that is second to none. Once through the doors, guests are enveloped by what can only be termed, “a feast for the senses”.
The venue’s multi-level configuration offers distinct changes in mood and tempo, with the décor and finishes emphasizing these changes. From Trinity Café on the ground floor, to the Trinity Grill room on the second level and Trinity East on the 3rd level, there is a menu to suit all tastes, be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a casual business meeting.
I won’t lie, I’m super amped! We’ve been subjected to average venues for too long. It’s clear this isn’t a club, but a lifestyle and an experience, but no doubt we are going to have some awesome club nights there! Fez is OK, but honestly, come now, where is the super club experience? Tiger Tiger is rad for getting hammered any night of the week, but where are the clubs that compete on an international level? I’ve never had a decent night at Hemisphere. I’d much rather be chilling at Verdi as opposed to a nightclub, because the experiences at clubs are just average…unless you’re super wasted. I think Trinity is here to change this. We’ll see on opening night!
