While South Africa will no doubt be many years behind something like this (Let along large scale infrastructure for electric cars), it is interesting to take note of it and see what the rest of the world are doing. Basically, you pick up a BMW anywhere in DriveNow operating area, and return it anywhere within the same area. So you’re not held back by having to return a car to a certain location. Sounds quite awesome in theory, and Munich are busy enjoying it. Check it out:
