Being an ex Rondebosch boy (I shouldn’t say this — registration for next year might drop) I’m obviously well aware of who’s who. There was that one oke who became a lank successful cricket player. There was Gcobani Bobo. There is even that guy who runs that raddest blog in the world…SLXS…oh no wait that’s a bit of a shit website. Don’t read that one. And there is Justin Bergh, one of South Africa’s top singer song writers.

He’s very unlike much of what we expect from local musicians, well ‘Idols’ who spend their days playing free gigs to kids at Kenilworth Centre and Blue Route Mall. And…Justin is going to be supporting Bryan Adams on his South African tour in July. That’s next month which is pretty awesome.

So for the album launch tonight at Wembley Square, here are the details:

South African singer songwriter Justin Bergh launches his anticipated third album “Inside Out” at Wembley Square, Cape Town on Wednesday 9 June 2010 from 17h30. Justin will be performing an acoustic set of tracks from the album, including the first single “Special” and his latest chart hit “Miss America”, penned by international recording artist Bryan Adams. “Inside Out” will be available digitally at Nokia Music Store from 7 June 2010.

Crisis, it’s going to make a welcome change from my eardrums being vuvuzela blasted today!
