When talking to me, some people think that there are certain things they should do or say to impress me. But yet I lead a more simple life than that, one where mental intellect is not so important. Some may call it shallow. Some may call it superficial. But whatever, you know, it’s how I like it. And this makes it easier, because sometimes the best moments in life happen when no one is speaking. Silence is in fact…golden. Especially with some people from places like Stellenbosch, they’re beautiful and then they open their mouths and it sounds like a deckhand shouting at you from a combine harvester. It’s quite, shall we say, rough. Not to be shallow though…

This is a backstage test shot from the Elite Model Agency with minimal makeup, and Alessandra still looks phenomenal. That’s what I like, for you to look good without make up. I hate make up. The less you can wear the better. If I kiss you and your whole face is left imprinted on my face…well we can gather that things won’t have much chance from there on. Does anyone actually like people who wear loads of make up? I can’t imagine being with someone who takes 2 hours to put their face on. We won’t get into powdering your nose…
