Now the terrible thing with this Mini is in fact the name. It does NOT refer to Goodwood in the Cape Town area. That areas is reserved for misfits, inbreds, drug cartels and general AIDS and prostitution. Apologies to my Goodwood readers (Or ‘Goodood’ as they say)

The Mini Goodwood edition is however on the other end of the scale. We’re talking high quality cocaine, high class ladies of the night, champagne and copious amounts of sex on leather. I’m joking, I didn’t mean to say that, I just speak for some of the readers out there as we try appeal to a broader base of readers.

Basically what I’m trying to say is the Mini Goodwood edition is a whole lot of amazing. I hesitate to say it gives me wood, but then I go ahead and say it anyway.

It is inspired by the quality finishes you’d come to expect from Rolls Royce. Rich people driving their Rolls Royces in convoy often refer to this convoy as the ‘Pussy Patrol’ or ‘Pussy Police’ I kid you not, I mixed in these circles once upon a time in my decadent and depraved youth.

So what has Rolls Royce added to the MINI? The dashboard is finished in Walnut Burr and black nappa leather, the roof lining is Cashmere wool, and the sun visors and foot mats are deep-pile lambs wool borrowed straight from the current Rolls-Royce range. Most of this skin-deep luxury is Rolls’ proprietary “cornsilk” color, offset with rich “Piano black” highlights, while the quality of the Diamond Black metallic paint on the exterior is also borrowed from the current Rolls-Royce color chart. The leather which makes up a large part of the interior is also sumptuous RR quality.
