Brands that don’t live up to their promises at the 2009 Cycle Tour
I don’t want to blow my own horn here (No not that horn. I WISH I could perform autofellatio…umm…*awkward*)But surely the best part of the day was me saying, as a guy walked past me with his bike,
“No wonder you’ve got no energy!”
Obviously referring to his Eskom cycling shirt.
Eskom…FAIL!
And then the three Powerade walkers. Another form of poor advertising!
Powerade…FAIL!
It’s not ideal, at this point in the so called “recession” to have your brands represented like this. Or maybe it’s just a case of advertising your brand anywhere you can. Sort of like a “Any publicity is good publicity” type of vibe.
