There is an auction over here on MyTrade.co.za, and they are auctioning the original Mona Lisa. Actually four copies of it.
So now, if you are a normal person, you know for a fact that this is a joke. I mean, it is so obvious I don’t even need to go into it.

- nice one. Yeah, all the auctions on http://www.mytrade.co.za are all for testing purposes. During Alpha launch, we managed to get around 50 volunteers to play around and test the platform in order to pick up bugs and make suggestions etc.
One of our users decided to put up the “Mona Lisa”… 4 of them… (which I think is quite classic), but nether would have thought that someone would believe or rather question for that matter, whether this is real or not. Common sense prevails!
We are working hard at getting the system in perfect shape for Beta launch somewhere mid next month. MyTrade brings you interactive online shopping experience that sets us apart from any other traditional online auction site or shop.
Unfortunately no one has access to registering on the site during Alpha phase, but be sure to check out the wacky item our test users are auctioning up. From “Snow in an envelope” to a “Ghost in a Jar”, some really crazy listings has surfaced in the last 2 weeks!
Hey JP, yeah I think it’s hilarious all the things that are being “auctioned” at the moment! It’s good for marketing though as people are now talking about it a lot which is good.
I couldn’t believe Janet L either, I mean…come on!
I’m going to go check out the items now…and also see if anyone questions them…ummm…Janet
