Mitch The Man Clean Cut

If you’re a man who uses any sort of hair styling product, you’ll know that it’s an absolute minefield out there. I have tried virtually every single product on the market and for the past few years I was stuck on Fudge Hair Shaper and Fudge Fat Hed, because they just worked for me. We all know the problem with hair products…the ones with the best hold are either too shiny or too matte and to find a product with a natural shine and a good hold is like trying to find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. My current hair product portfolio looks like this:

I know what you’re thinking, and I’m thinking the same. When does it become an addiction?! I don’t know but I’m sure the photo above puts me in the addiction corner.

With my hair, anything too matte and it makes my head look like it’s wearing a hay bale. Too greasy and my hair falls flat and I also look like I’ve just been through an automatic car wash.

So I was chilling at Edge the other day getting my locks sheared when I saw Mitch Clean Cut, and I had seen it online so decided to try it out because it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. A styling product with a natural finish. They call it semi-matte which is exactly what I need in my life and on my hair. Now I know that what something says on the packaging and how it looks on your hair are two completely different things.

However, Paul Mitchell have got this product 100% right. It gives a completely natural finish, has a nice hold without being stiff and rinses out easily. Which is what I have been searching for my whole life! Gosh I hate taking photos of myself, and if I do I always have to pull a strange face, but I had to do this so you could see my fantastic hair! (Cringe)

It’s available in Cape Town at Edge hair salons, and it’s amazing. I need everything possible in my arsenal to make me look better, and this is one of my essentials.
