Urban Wave presents Dubfire from Deep Dish in Cape Town

Dubfire forms one half of the Grammy Award winning Deep Dish and you cannot miss this party. It takes place on December 13 2008 in Cape Town and the venue will not be disclosed until a later time.

Shot for the heads up…I just registered now. Judging by the pics from David Guetta, the next party is going to be a ripper.

    Hey Rob

It’s actually not as bad as people think! I was also skeptical the first time Urban Wave held a party there, but it’s a brilliant venue, we always get parking, security is good and the sheer size of the venue is great. At David Guetta, they had transformed it so much, you couldn’t see the cycling track around the velodrome and it was amazing.

It is a bit far, but it just means you need to organise lifts before hand so you can booze it up. Apply for a ticket and check it out…I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

I kinda agree with Rob as having a party of such nature is best experienced on “peculiar” locations, like previously experienced, the castle, oudekraal, devils peak etc…but im sure they should be able to pull it off in hosting a good event. As for the artist….wow, springs to mind. I first saw the duo, deep dish back in 2001 at the good hope centre. I think South Africa has lost its touch and i guess this is my opinion, but have jumped on the commercial band wagon where music is concerned and i believe we lost out on having great dj’s like Sasha, John Digweed, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Peace Division, Paolo Mojo to name a few. So Urban Wave, i think in the wake of all this, its awesum to finally see good DJ’s like Ali dubfire coming to our shores. Looking forward to some good music.
