Ryan Sandes 2012 Salomon SkyRun

Ryan Sandes beat the previous Salomon Sky Run record, set by fellow South African runner Ian Don Wauchope, by more than 2 hours. Ian’s record was 14hrs56min while Ryan’s time 12hrs36min. Here is the video:

My favourite comment ‘I felt like I was going backwards for quite a lot of the race’ And then smashing the record by over 2 hours. That is actually phenomenal!
