I’m not sure how the press can publish this, it’s very NSFW! Anyway I haven’t been following the whole Investec and Auction Alliance thing because it doesn’t concern me, but I did find this quite enjoyable from MoneyWeb:

ALEC HOGG: Now for that auctioneering kickback story that got the nation talking after being covered on Carte Blanche last night. Two employees of Investec Bank were fingered.
Joining us now is Investec’s group chief executive, Stephen Koseff. Well, they say, Stephen, sometimes that any publicity is good publicity. I am sure you wouldn’t agree in this respect.

STEPHEN KOSEFF: Ja, I think obviously we are not happy that we have been fingered in this way. I think that’s it’s totally unfair.

MY GOD!! Investec employees have been getting fingered? I’m sure it’s not that much of a problem though? You’re telling me no one in that building is having sex? I mean, what they do in their spare time is entirely up to them. Imagine if someone found out they were having actual sex? Tragic!

Having said that, this situation does get awkward if they were getting fingered at work. And as that guy said, they were not happy being fingered in that way. Ja no look, when being fingered it’s always important that they are doing it the right way.

No one wants to be fingered in the wrong way.
