Now I must admit, I haven’t tried this, but it does look interesting. I can’t vouch for it, but if you check out the website (Razorpit.com) they have some more information on the whole thing. This is what they say:

Interesting. Grates my balls to pay R180 every month for new blades
Yeah blades are a waste of cash, I bought Lion double edge blades the other day, 5 blades for R11. Going to buy a double edge razor from Mantality and see how it works! Apparently once you get the technique right it’s the best shave ever.
You can sharpen your blade on a mirror or piece of glass as well
Gillete Blue series thangyouverymuch 40 bucks and it lasts long enough
