Maui Jim Pilot: The Thinking Persons Aviator

Look, Ray Ban Aviators are a design classic and will never go out of style. but if you’re tired of the lack of wrap around coverage they give you, then you’re going to love the Maui Jim Pilot. Maui Jim produce some of the finest polarized lenses on the planet, and I’ve been lucky enough to try these on a few occasions at Extreme Eyewear at the V&A Waterfront. Having tried loads and loads of different sunglasses in my time, my own personal choices in lenses come down to Serengeti and Maui Jim. the Maui Jim HCL Bronze lenses will literally change the way you see the world.

Instead of making your world dull and grey, they make the colours explode with life. Polarization cuts glare so that you can see everything that is in front of you. Their wrap around shape ensures that no sunlight is going to sneak in the sides, so you’re not going to have tired and burning eyes half way through the day. They cut 99.9% of glare, and filter out 100% of UV light, so you’re protected all day long.

The Maui Jim Pilot are ridiculously lightweight, so you’re going to be able to wear them all day without noticing they are there, and the wrap around coverage and killer design just make your life so much easier. There is nothing worse than having cool looking sunglasses that aren’t fully functional.

Honestly, if you think the sunglasses you have now are just fine, or just OK, I urge you to try on a pair of Maui Jim or Serengeti sunglasses.
