Some French Connection Man Winter Wear
I spotted these over at the French Connection Man Facebook page, and while not of any groundbreaking styles, I like the simplicity. The fact that there are no labels plastered along the front is also a winning point, because you know, I’m a person, not a free walking advertisement, like the surf brands want us to be.
You should always go for a button up as opposed to a pullover…why? So you don’t mess your hair up! One of my worst fears, strange, but true. These are some cool fashion staples for winter, although we won’t see them here. Stuttafords stock some French Connection stuff, but you know, we never get the best of it.
The classic tortured soul look…give it to the tweakers at the Biscuit Mill!
My favorite one, except when eating anything with tomato sauce in it
If you find anything similar though in the coming months, it’s a good start to the winter layering. Never buy one crazy thick jacket, it never gets cold enough to wear it here, so you end up walking into a restaurant and having to remove a jacket designed for the North Pole. Rather go with long shirts, with a light knit jersey over that, and maybe a thinner jacket on top of all of that in case it’s really cold. Then you have three choices for the cold, so you’re never too hot, not too cold. It’s the way to go.
