The Body Shop For Men Maca Root Shave Cream

You know how when a mate of yours starts claiming that his new bird offers the best sex he’s ever had, and you know he’s just saying this to make up for the fact that she is no oil painting?

Well that has nothing to do with this review! AWESOME!

So this story is a complicated one, well not really, but I’d like to think so to give it more depth. Anyway I had been using some or other Enchantrix Organic Shaving Gel for a while and wasn’t really enjoying it. It didn’t lather nicely and wasn’t really the best for creating a slick, soft surface on which to shave. I’d avoid the Enchantrix Shaving Gel. Not so good. Not recommended.

So I was then walking through Cavendish Square when like a bulimic kid, I knew something was up. I felt a feeling. This feeling drew me straight into The Body Shop. I had about two inches growth (No silly!) on my face…the result of about three weeks of not shaving. And I knew that I needed to have a shave and that I didn’t want to use my old shaving gel.

So I nipped into The Body Shop and picked up their Maca Root Shave Cream, and I’m honestly the happiest man in the world! You know your life is not all it’s cracked up to be when you get excited about buying new shave cream! FML!

The Body Shop for Men Maca Root Shave Cream (Short name) is just that…a cream and not a flimsy gel or foam. It’s extremely moisturising and I can honestly claim to never have used such an awesome shaving cream. It’s ingredients include maca root and creatine to firm and soothe the skin, Brazil nut oil to moisturise and soften the skin and beard and aloe vera gel to soothe, hydrate and moisturise. It is quite a rich cream, but you have never used anything like this in your life. I use the Mach3 Turbo, or whatever the battery operated one is, and this is probably the closest and smoothest shave I have ever had. What’s more, the intense moisturising properties of the shave cream mean that there is no irritation at all, and it’s much easiet to shave because of the slick surface created.
