Ryan Sandes in Heat Magazine — Chicks losing their minds

We’ve spoken about Ryan Sandes here at SLXS before, back in August when he won the Hansa Hout Bay Challenge. We mentioned him again last Thursday the 15th of October, with a piece entitled “Hout Bay’s Ryan Sandes Completely Owning The Amazon Jungle Marathon”

Well he did own it! He won in a time of 26 hours and 33 minutes, taking the course record for the fastest time since the race began. By now you will have followed the links on SLXS to Ryan’s website, but just again, well done to Ryan for these particularly INSANE achievements!

I think I used to body board with this dude back in 97/98 at Llandudno!

And then you just continued to be normal and Ryan went off the hook mental! I honestly don't know how he does what he does. I once ran down Suikerbossie and into the dunes over into Llandudno/Sandy Bay and it felt like a lung had dropped. All of 2 or 3 km's later. Shattered.

I wouldn’t quite say normal and I’ve won my fair share of things ;)

But yes, what he does is very impressive indeed – I walk from my computer to the kitchen and I feel as though a lung has dropped :D

Ja look I don't think you're doing too badly :) Oh and I won some AVG stuff on your site today, got the e-mail entry in after being evicted from Grandwest at 3am this morning for rowdiness, and we never even made it in. So shot for that, stoked! I'll try my best to get a virus now (Computer). Woooooo hooooo I love Fridays

LMAO! What were you doing at GW at 3am, lol! Well done on winning :)

TGIF FTW!

Ah we left Tiger and were like "Mmmmmm...the night is but an infant...let's make money!" So we went there, but the girls were so rowdy, we parked and a security van pulled up behind us. Then we walked to the entrance and the van arrived again, two guys got out and said we were too rowdy to go in and security at the door stopped us. So then the one security guy walked us to the car while the van followed, then they escorted us out. Dammit I was going to card count and take Vegas!

Yeah stoked on the win, I'll test that anti-virus to the max for scientific reasons. I must do a write up on how I ended up winning it when the prize arrives. Sickie woo!

"TGIF FTW!"

Sooooooooooooooo true!

Dude, being hearing about this Ryan Sandes alot lately, more people I speak to the more know him or know of him, seemed any average dude, like any of us and then decided to start runnning… great achievement he has reached… well done to him..

Hahaha, well done on being blocked from GW Sean… :)

Oh and thanks Chris, I also got the anti virus, you legend:) hahahahaa

Yeah dude I'm going to try go this weekend, definitely changing cars though. Damn security there is tight! Ok to get into the spirit of things I'm going for a run on Alphen Trail now...vomit! Chevelle later maybe, with me covered in the rich scent of school girl desire.

Touch

Lol, even though comment moderation is on, when someone leaves a comment, those subscribed still receive the comment :P

Anyway, craig – stoked you got the anti-virus as well!

What, do you get the spam as well? I will kill the guys who made this website! No seriously I'll kick Marc off Lions Head when we go.

Fortunately I haven’t received any spam, yet..

Shame, Marc’s a brilliant developer, this is obviously just a plugin, which isn’t working properly? I hope.

Thanks again Chris:) haha

Haha, if I wasn’t going camping, I’d come for 7 Patrons with you gents!

Sean, we should do a test to see how fast you can run up Lions Head after a long night of Claremont and Chevelle, I will time it :)
